In May of 2018, we took our usual spring trip to our “BackYard Park” Yellowstone to visit our Furry and Feathered friends along with see our old friends and meeting some new ones.
The “Grizzly Gang” at Footbridge P/O in the Lamar Valley: Bill (The Bear Man), Margaret, Kathy, Jean, Randi, John, Richard, Rita and myself.
We stayed in our camper at Rocky Mountain RV Park in Gardiner, MT and one of our Furry friends made herself at home on the owners front yard.
Up early every morning, enjoying a cup of coffee and some banana bread along the way, we checked out the usual spots to see if our “friends” were out and about.
Ruddy Ducks at Floating Island Lake and a Black Bear Coy (cub of the year – who was 6-8 pounds soaking wet) near Tower.
Blue Birds at Swan Flats.
A Cinnamon Black Bear on the road to Dunraven Pass.
As we headed to Jackson Hole very early in the morning on Memorial Day a yearling wolf from the Waipi Pack was also traveling south along the road, in and out of the woods, and we enjoyed watching him/her for about 40 minutes with no “wolf jam”. And at Colter Bay we did get to see Blondie and her yearling grizzly cubs.
Kath made breakfast at Leeks Marina and we although it was mostly cloudy we did enjoy the scenery of the Teton’s.
Hunger, but if he eats ever so cialis samples little, he is satisfied and feels quite full.
Back in Yellowstone we watched Quad Mom and her 2 year old cubs, who are almost as big as her, by Swan Flats for almost two hours one morning. We did see a lot of other grizzly bears and cubs during our stay, but most were up high and you needed binoculars and scopes to see them. It was a treat and fun to show kids the bears on the iPhone (screen) attached to our scope.
And we always enjoy the scenery in the park.
Enjoy the Adventure
